TOWIE stars go '80s for birthday party

It's frequently referred to as the decade that taste forgot, yet Eighties fashion keeps coming back round to torment us with its neon brightness and grunge chic.

And now the cast of TOWIE have appeared in all their lycra glory for Joey Essex's 22nd birthday.

Despite the fact that he was born in 1990, the boyfriend of Sam Faiers threw the themed bash and encouraged all his friends to make an effort.

And make an effort they did. Lydia Bright Greased up with a pair of bright red skin-tight leggings and a cropped black scoop neck top, accessorising with some red wedges that lacked heels, giving the look a modern Lady Gaga-esque twist.

Lauren Pope also went for the leggy look in her white leotard worn over hot pink ripped leggings, which she finished off with grey legwarmers and white high heel pumps, along with a skinny red belt, pink sunglasses and matching hoop earrings.

To get the '80s look, team brightly coloured leggings with an oversized printed t-shirt. Finish off with cute black high heels and as much day-glo jewellery as you can pile on!
