Nicola Roberts wears trainers to star-studded party

With the Olympics getting underway tonight (July 27th), even celebrities are feeling festive about the sporting event.

Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts went so far as to turn up in a pair of trainers for Warner Pre-Olympics party last night, opting for white sneakers to add the finishing touch to her gorgeous pillar box red gown.

The full length dress featured a stylish sweetheart neckline and a knee-length slit at the side and Nicola accessorised with gold hoop earrings and rings on her fingers, piling her distinctive red hair into a bun on top of her head.

She posted a picture of her cute footwear on Twitter, simply stating: "Party feet".

Nicola wasn't the only celebrity to make a splash with their shoes at the Tate Modern party, with Caroline Flack opting for bright red ankle boots, which she teamed with a black and white striped mini skirt, a band t-shirt and a crisp white blazer while carrying a leopard print clutch bag.
