Matching lace with leopard print can really work I simply love this leopard print blazer This floaty leopard print dress will be making its way into my wardrobe soon

O.M.G! How much am I LOVING Kylie's latest look. The pint-sized pop princess was seen strutting her stuff in LA yesterday wearing two of my absolute favourite looks - leopard print and lace, together! It sounds trashy, but it totally worked.

What I loved about it was how fierce it was, yet how feminine at the same time. It's a bit like mixing leather with chiffon - it says 'I'm a soft and sensual woman, but don't dare mess with me'.

Which got me thinking, how else can we work this? Kylie's dress was purple leopard print with lace around the shoulders, waist and hem but there's no reason you can't mix separates instead of combining the fabrics into one garment.

Take this pretty lace asymmetrical dress for example. On its own it's soft and pretty, but team it with a leopard print blazer and you can give your outfit instant edginess. Not convinced? Try some sky-high leopard print heels and a matching clutch bag instead.

Alternatively, you could wear a leopard print bodycon dress with lace tights, or lace shorts with a cool leopard print t-shirt. Just mix it up and experiment. Sometimes it doesn't work, but when it does, it totally does.

If you're still not feeling brave enough, try accessorising to mix the two looks. Wear a lace dress and add an animal print scarf necklace. It's subtle, but it's quirky enough to make you stand out.

Or, while we're on the fierce and feminine theme, swap the lace for another soft and sensual fabric. I'm loving this gorgeous bustier asymmetrical hem dress, which combines a bang-on-trend leopard print bralet style top with a sheer floaty skirt. I'll definitely be wearing this one soon.

In the meantime, I'll be keeping a close eye on little Kylie to see what else she comes up with next.

Hugs and air kisses,
